No referral needed for psychology: You can book directly with a psychologist at Cygnet Clinic without a GP referral. However, a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from your GP entitles you to Medicare rebates for up to 10 individual sessions per calendar year with a registered psychologist.
Psychiatry and Pain Management: A GP referral is required to see our Consultant Psychiatrist or Pain Specialist. Referrals can be submitted electronically via our referral portals or through HealthLink (ID: cygnetcl).
Telehealth available: We offer telehealth psychology sessions for clients across Western Australia and Australia-wide. Telehealth Medicare rebates apply with a valid MHCP, making quality mental health care accessible from home.
NDIS and other funding: Cygnet Clinic accepts self-managed and plan-managed NDIS funding for psychological assessment and therapeutic support. We also accept DVA Gold and White cards, WorkCover, ICWA, and Motor Vehicle Accident claims.
